๐ŸŽ‰ What Iโ€™d Do With 48 Hours in Austin (Adult Edition) ๐Ÿธ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŒฎ

๐ŸŽ‰ What Iโ€™d Do With 48 Hours in Austin (Adult Edition) ๐Ÿธ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŒฎ

Letโ€™s say youโ€™ve got just one weekend to soak in Austin. Hereโ€™s how Iโ€™d make the most of itโ€”with a little bit of chill, a lot of food, and just enough chaos to keep it spicy:

1. Start at Radio Coffee & Beer โ˜•๐Ÿบ

Because why choose between caffeine and alcohol? Grab a taco from Veracruz and sit under the oaks. This place screams Austin.

2. Walk it off on South Congress ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿšถ

Iconic shops, funky murals, and โ€œpeople watchingโ€ on another level. Stop by Allenโ€™s Boots, grab a drink at Hotel San Josรฉ, and take that โ€œI love you so muchโ€ selfie. You know the one.

3. Do Barton Springs the Right Way ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ

Pack a blanket, BYO drinks (no glass), and chill like a local. Pro tip: Cold plunge first, then nap in the sun. Reset your nervous system and your vibe.

4. Cocktails with a View at P6 ๐Ÿน๐ŸŒ‡

That rooftop at The LINE Hotel? Absolutely worth it. Get there before sunset and order the house margarita. Thank me later.

5. Late Dinner at Suerte or Loro ๐ŸŒฎ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Modern Mexican or Asian smokehouse? Flip a coin, because both slap. Suerte for upscale tacos and mezcal; Loro for brisket with a twist and chill patio vibes.

6. Hit the East Side Bars ๐Ÿป๐ŸŽง

Midnight Cowboy (if you like speakeasies), Whislerโ€™s (if you like mezcal), or Hotel Vegas (if you like hipsters dancing badly to live music). Choose your adventure.

7. Hangover Brunch at Launderette ๐Ÿณ๐Ÿฅ‚

Retro diner meets high-end brunch. The fried oysters and champagne combo is oddly healing. Trust.

8. Scoot Around Town on an Electric Bike or Vespa ๐Ÿ›ต๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ

Itโ€™s not Europe, but it feels like it. Ride through Zilker, across the pedestrian bridge, and along the boardwalk trail. Bonus: you look cool doing it.

9. Catch Live Music (Duh) ๐ŸŽธ๐ŸŽค

Mohawk, Antoneโ€™s, or ACL Liveโ€”just see something. Itโ€™s Austin law. Doesnโ€™t matter whoโ€™s playing. It always hits.

10. Wind Down With a Sunset at Mount Bonnell ๐ŸŒ…๐Ÿ“ท

Bring a bottle of wine and take in the skyline. Youโ€™ll get that quiet moment to say, โ€œDamn, I get it now.โ€

Thatโ€™s my version of 48 hours in Austin. What would you add or swap out?
